The groove under the foot is designed to channel a precise 2mm satin stitch width. This narrow groove is the secret to accurate and finely detailed appliqué. The groove curves smoothly on both sides at the back of the foot, allowing free-form versatility in the line of stitching
The narrow groove in the sole makes this foot particularly well suited for making baby-cord piping as well.
Fits all the old Bernina models from the 530 to the 1630, including the current 1008.
This foot does not fit modern electronic models, Artista, Aurora, Virtuosa & Activa.
