The transparent sole affords a good view of the working area.

The small hole in the center of the foot acts as a guide for couching a narrow cord.
This foot is especially suitable for decorative stitches, satin stitching, appliqué, couching perle yarn, sewing off-the-edge scallops, etc.

Fits all the old Bernina models from the 530 to the 1630, including the current 1008.

This foot does not fit modern electronic models, Artista, Aurora, Virtuosa & Activa.
